About Us
At Music House, we are a collective of dedicated musicians, educators and creatives working to inspire learning and life skills in children and young people through the transformative power of music. With over 30 years of experience, our mission is to nurture learning, communication, and wellbeing through the profound impact of music.

What We Do
We provide music lessons, workshops, concerts, gigs and special projects for babies, children and young people. Online training courses and resources offer accessible music skills and resources for people working in early childhood.

Since 1994 we have nurtured learning, communication and life skills with music lessons, bespoke musical storytelling workshops, specialist intervention workshops and multi-arts collaborations. Our work has taken us overseas, and across the UK to support families, and to train people working in early childhood. Our mission is to empower toddlers, children and adults through music; and work to their strengths to become confident, independent, creative individuals.
We empower children through music, foster early development, communication and attachment using a joyful framework to engage the child and key adult. Our extensive range of services includes lessons, instrumental learning, concerts, musical storytelling, workshops, vocational study, training in early childhood and community outreach projects.
Whether enhancing language development, developing the confidence to communicate or strengthening existing skills music is the catalyst for positive change for all participants.
Music is much more than just an art form. Music provides a foundation for early development, and is a life platform from which children can interact with their wider communities. Musical activities engages composition, sound design, performance and helps young people to develop the confidence to be a team player and leader in whatever path they choose.

What People Say About Us
This course has been confidence-building for me because I’ve learned a lot more about how the music industry works…I would definitely recommend doing this course if you want to go into the music industry or just learn more about music.

I found the course really interesting and fun! By working at the box office, I was in a way ‘forced’ to talk to people and it helped boost my confidence.

Josie was absolutely terrific – so talented, charismatic and experienced. I can’t believe she brought, played and let the kids play her antique cello!
