Primary Ages
Clubs, Concerts, Gigs and Projects for Primary Ages (5-11 years)
As budding musicians move into primary ages, we broaden their musical horizons and develop the confidence to become creative composers too! Whether learning an instrument or honing sociable talents, our unique blend of small group provision, ensemble and composition projects develops technical ability, team work and leadership skills. All in a fun, supportive and hugely creative environment.

Group Piano
Group piano sessions are ideal for providing an early introduction to the piano and reading music. With a maximum of six per class, children develop early piano technique, musical comprehension and appreciate different genres listening to each other and perform. These clubs are carefully structured to give children a joyful insight to instrumental learning whilst retaining a classical framework to music education.

Group Violin
This class introduces children to the joy of playing the violin in a supportive and social environment, whilst building a strong foundation for future violin studies. With up to six pupils in a class, children develop key skills like posture, bowing, finger placement, and rhythm. A focus on aural training, expression, and basic note reading helps children build confidence as they play simple melodies and harmonies together.

Family Piano
Discover the joy of learning piano together! In this interactive class, each parent and child pair shares a piano as they explore the instrument side by side. With a focus on hands-on learning and building strong musical foundations, the class offers a supportive, social environment where confidence and connection can grow. Taught in small groups of up to four pairs, each family receives personalised guidance from an experienced teacher.

Music Appreciation
Nursery ages develop musical comprehension with a pre-curriculum framework involving instrumental play, imaginative storytelling and using music notation with movement and dancing. Nurturing vocalising and language is an essential foundation to early music making with children later gaining the confidence to learn an instrument, create their own compositions and performing.
