Music and Vocational Provision for Young People (13+ years)
For young people ready to step beyond the classroom, our musical pathways provide a deeper insight to the live music scene. From hands-on industry days in a grassroots venue to year long courses on staging live events, students gain practical experience in sound, lighting, DJing, promotion and much more. Vocational options build real-world skills, industry connections and give students a creative voice and the confidence to turn their passion into a profession.

Our Shared Voice
This music, physical theatre, and digital sound project funded by H&F' KCII Youth Fund provided an incredible opportunity for young people to develop new skills in creative music and songwriting, opening doors to vocational pathways.
Through a series of engaging workshops, students met and collaborated with brilliant industry professionals, enhanced their skillset, and gained practical experience in something they loved.
Thanks to H&F thee workshops were completely free. Bush Hall generously donated much of their services in-kind. If we secure funding to support the brilliant Bush Hall/Music House collaboration we will do this again.
Music Industry Days
In partnership with Bush Hall and Next Door Records, we run hands-on workshops in real grassroots venues for young people curious about a future in music.
Our vocational programme offers a real taste of the live music industry, giving students practical experience across key areas including lighting, sound, DJing, composition, ticketing, security, bar work (18+), and even coffee-making.
With the support of working professionals, sessions are immersive, engaging, and designed to help students explore study and career options beyond sixth form.
Home Tuition (1:1 Lessons)
Our hand-chosen teachers are selected for their love of teaching and their technical rigour. We match each pupil with the right tutor through a detailed registration process, creating bespoke lessons that build confidence, independence and a strong musical voice.

Organising A Music Event - Modules for Learning
Learn practical, vocational skills in our working grassroots venue Bush Hall.
Vocational and placement schemes are offered to support students with hands on experience with everything from promotion to box office, staging, security, sound, lighting and of course, managing artists.
Our successful RSL study programme has encouraged more students to opt for bespoke practical opportunities to work in live music, and to hone new skills in the industry. Giving our emerging generation tangible work experience will help profile grassroots venues and keep them alive. The vast income streams generated from live music leaves no doubt in everyone's mind, that a universally louder voice will ensure sustainability as our young people take the creative baton onwards and upwards.
