Fabric is a wonderful, tactile and imaginative resource to bring to life stories, moving, adventure, and creative moving with musical play. Scarves, ribbons, cut-out bits of colourful fabric can all be enjoyed for peekaboo activities, poems, moving with a lovely piece of music or song or imaginary play. They are particularly fun on a rainy, dull day.

Fabric can be transformed into flowers, hats, butterflies and much more. In our course you will get masses of ideas to have fun with your children. Here is just one example:
Find a large see-through fabric to create the sea, waves or water in general. Move it together up and down with lovely swishy sounds. Wiggle it, lift it up and down and see what happens.
A little song might pop up such as “row row row your boat”. Squeal with delight as you leap into the fabric on the floor, and 'splash' about!
This is a fabulous resource to nurture language in non-verbal children. It's fun, cheap, colourful and together you can zoom off onto watery adventures!
