As we approach the end of the academic year here at Music House Education, it offers us the opportunity to reflect on how our Music Therapy provision has developed over the year and the impact it’s had on the families and children we’ve worked with.
Music Therapy was a relatively new adventure for Music House Education and we are so pleased that it has been embraced and supported by the local community, and seems to be doing something to fill the gap in support for children with additional needs and their families. The uptake of music therapy has been heart-warming to see and we have the statistics to show what a large and varied variety client base we now have:
364 music therapy sessions delivered since September
16-year age gap between our oldest and youngest client.
Ending the year with 14 more clients than we started with.
100% of parents/carers would recommend our services to other families
Children come from a broad range of educational backgrounds, 30% from special educational schools, 30% from mainstream schools, and 40% being homeschooled.
We were very lucky to be able to gather some feedback from the families who bring their children to music therapy which we have shared below. We are eternally grateful for the support and encouragement we receive from families, without whom it would not be possible to deliver the quality of music therapy
we offer.

Our music therapy service is continuing into next year, with the new start in September being the perfect time to introduce new activities to your child. If you would like to know more about our music therapy provision please contact our in-house music therapist on the email below and they will be
happy to offer advice, support, and further information.
